Enontekiö Lapland

Enontekiö is located in the Northwesternmost corner of Finland and shares border with Norway. Enontekiö is one of the Fell Lapland municipalities with most - and highest - fells in Finland.  Closest commercial airport can be found in Kittilä and Tromso in Norway. Closest railway station is in Kolari but Rovaniemi airport and railwaystation has bus connection to the area. Enontekiö airport operates charter flights during winter.

Hetta Village is well known for its artisans, cultural events and as a starting point for legendary Hetta-Pallas hiking trail, 54 km. Enontekiö municipality services are located at Hetta as well as the airport for charter flights.

 

Hetta offers a wide range of hotels, cottages and activity providers and is a true year around destination.
